In the season there are various flea markets to visit every weekend in the villages.

June
The 1st weekend of June: Street theater festival 'Les petites Rêves' (little dreams) in Brinon-sur-Beuvron (6 km from Logement Champallement), with music, theater, cabaret and dance.
July
The 1st Sunday of July: Broccante in Champallement. The brocante is of course more than a second hand market, it is mainly a meeting with the inhabitants of the village. The villagers provide a nice lunch together. Gerben baked the French fries all day long last year!
14th of July: The celebration of ‘Quatorze Juillet in Champallement. This most important national festival, the celebration of the French Revolution in 1789, is a pleasant village festival. In the evening, people eat together at long dining tables on the village square. After that you can dance on the village square until midnight. At 22:00 a small decorative fireworks is set off.
The last weekend of July: ‘Le Chemin des arts’ festival in Soffin (7.5 km from Logement Champallement). There are several workshops: drama, drawing, painting, yoga.
August
10th of August: The Bach Ensemble Amsterdam in Champallement. This Dutch Ensemble performs a very diverse spectacle of classical music: opera, medieval music, choral music and of course a lot of Bach. The village church opens its doors especially for this event and afterwards we drink together a glass of wine on the village square. How nice this is!
